Mary Martin comes to Insurance Hub after retiring at age 55 from being a successful Vice President, Investments at Prudential Securities and Raymond James & Associates of 24 years. During that time she managed a portfolio of $500 million for private clients. In the first year at Raymond James, Mary won “Rookie of the Year Award”. She continued to win many President Club Awards throughout her 20 years at Raymond James.
Mary’s financial career started as a young child when her father asked her to help him manage his client book at night when he would return home from his sales field and was too tired to post and reconcile his accounts.
At age 29 Mary then started her career at New York Life and was awarded many accolades in health and life insurance and completed a three year financial planning course. Now Mary has returned to the health and life insurance field, first through Allstate Financial Services and now is an independent planner with Insurance Hub. Mary chose independent planning in order to bring the most competitive annuities, life insurance and other products and services to her clients. Her financial planning background is now the foundation for her success. She understands the need to bypass probate, pass assets to their heirs and the need for the best health coverage for her clients.
Personally, Mary is very passionate about everything she does. Mary is devoted to working at her church food bank, helping others get their needs met and caring deeply about her clients, going the extra mile to assist them. Mary is married to Bob Martin, who is also in the insurance business. They married in 2005 and Bob has five children and seven grandchildren, one newly adopted grand daughter and one grand baby girl on the way. Together they adopted twin girls in 2006 at their age of 14 and have successfully raised them.. Mary’s daughter, Sherry, is a marketing director for a local restoration company and an ordained minister in her church. Mary and Bob like to travel, play cribbage and board games and have many large family gatherings with their eight children and grandchildren together.
